Quest are looking for a Metallurgist Specialist for work in the Middle East, Saudi Arabia. Candidates should have: - Minimum 12 years experience preferably in the refinery or petrochemical industry - First degree in Engineering Job Role: - Monitor material performance and evaluate material deterioration - Interpreting and understanding design drawings and making recommendations - Conduct investigations on all metals failure problems and issue recommendations. - Doing structural analysis using sophisticated computer software - Writing documents, procedures, metallurgical investigations, and reports - Discussing different solutions to problems with other technical staff - Provide coaching to lower ‎levels engineers and supervise their work to ensure proper transfer of ‎skills and work performance as per standards. - Review new product plans and make recommendations for material selection based on design objectives, such as strength, weight, heat resistance, electrical conductivity, and cost. - Making decisions and solving problems by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems. - Initiate and conduct Metallurgic tests to identify the type of failures

Heat treated material inspection.
Field failure analysis ( Crack , White Rust ) .
Material or Grinding Crack Analysis by using stereo zoom microscope.
Coating Weight analysis and Coating Thickness analysis by using microscope ( lica Software )
Know ledged in operating of Macro & Micro Vickers hardness tester , Rockwell hardness tester , and Metallurgical microscope , Specimen preparation.
Responsible for reducing the customer complaints.

Looking after process in Heat treatment shop having LPC f / c ( Low Pressure Carburizing Furnace ) , Sub zero cum Tempering f / c , TEM m / c ( Thermal Energy Method ) and chemical blackening , Phosphate unit.
Involving in new product development.
New equipment erection & commissioning.
Process monitoring , preventive maintenance adherence , furnace effectiveness monitoring.
Involving in preparation and implementation of KAIZEN.
Created manufacturing documents for shop floor.
TPM Concepts implementation in shop floor.
Knowledge in the field of Production & Material inspection.
