Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification -

Min BE (Metallurgy / Mechanical / Production).

Experience:10-15 yrs.

•Min 10 years of which 5 – 6 years in leading role.

Industry Background:

Automotive Industry or exposure in product / program management of axles , brakes , gears etc. in Auto Industry .

Work Experiene:

• Track record of effective change management .

• Extensive and thorough knowledge of product , materials and alternate solutions.

• Extensive knowledge of various processes along with cost factors.

• Establishes and drives continuous improvement of Program / Project Management excellence.

• Provides subject matter expertise to staffs in all aspects of project, program and product management related to cost optimization.

• Development of strategic initiatives toward continuous performance improvement and profit improvement.

• Oversee the implementation/execution ( and manage the related risk ) of key program imperatives related to Customer Demand , Cost , Timing , Engineering , Supply Chain , Quality , Manufacturing and Delivery.

• Managing the cross-functional team and it’s deliverables within the organization's Concept to Customer Program Management process.

-with the goal of improving EBITDA via cost improvements.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Organize Idea generation sessions and workshops.

• Detailed analysis of material cost for all products and identify opportunities for past corrections, cost reductions and margin improvements.

• Identify areas of standardization and rationalization.

• Explore alternate materials, suppliers, processes and other supply chain opportunities for continuous cost reduction.

• Ensure adherence and compliances to all procedures and systems.

• Establishes and achieves financial and timing objectives by preparing program budget, assisting in pricing, managing costs and ensuring target margins are met. Identifies and manages related risk.

• Prepares program status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Reports to management.

• Accountable for managing the delivery of all program key objectives (financial, timing, quality) .

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by organizing and attending educational workshops.

• Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to identify cost reduction and market opportunities.

• Leads multifunctional project teams to achieve project objectives.

• Manages day-to-day aspects of projects.

• Manages budget responsibility.

-Use metrics and performance measures to track progress; drive rigorous internal and external benchmarking of performance.
