| Job Category: | Engineering | This is a newly created role within an established, successful and now expanding gold mining business. The New Mines Development team is charged with successfully assessing, planning and executing a series of new projects involving several gold and base metals mines and centralised processing plants. The Senior Process Engineer will require a successful track record in designing all aspects of the gold processing plants and developing and leading the metallurgical team that will undertake the feasibility studies, and oversee projects through the construction phase and into production. Principal duties also include the provision of oversight for new projects and assessment of new opportunities, conducting metallurgical analysis, and technical interpretation of data, and liaison with external consultants. The company uses a Stage Gate project methodology, and process development, test work and creation of operating manuals for each designed mine and facility is required. We wish to hear from Degree qualified professionals with a minimum 8-10 years experience in project design and development, and some operational experience in minerals processing/gravity separation or continuous minerals process operations in gold plants.
